Angela & Braeden: An Engagement Shoot in Maine
Angela and Braeden, originally from Seattle, are currently living in Maine while Braeden attends school to become a dentist. They wanted their engagement photos to capture their time in Maine and this special season in their lives, so we set out to create images that felt timeless and reflective of the places they love.
We started their session inside the beautiful City Hall, a stunning old marble building that added a touch of classic charm to their photos. Angela and Braeden wore black and white outfits, keeping things simple and elegant, and their natural connection made for some really beautiful moments.
After the city shoot, we took the couple out on a large white sailboat just as the sun was setting. The peaceful water and soft evening light created the perfect setting to capture their love in a more relaxed, open space. The contrast between the city and the coast really highlighted the different sides of their journey together—balancing the excitement of their life in Maine with the calmness they share as a couple.
It was such a joy to work with Angela and Braeden, and their photos really reflect the love and excitement they’re feeling as they move forward into this next chapter of their lives. I’m so grateful I got to be a part of it and can’t wait to see what comes next for them!
